Let me preface this guide by stating that as of this writing, I am a eBay Gold Powerseller - that means I generate at least $10,000 in sales each and every month - I state this only because I want the reader to know who it is they are getting this information from...Now let's get to the truth, and put these scam auctioneers out of business.
The pictures are always the same...mostly woman, generally attractive women, or pictures of mounds of cash. There are screen-shots from their Paypal account (altered in Paintshop) showing a lot of money in a short period of time.
I have to admit in the beginning I was suckered too, and spent a lot of money to find out that which I am about to tell you - and no, my Powerseller status has NOTHING to do with what I found in these eBay Guides - quiet the contrary, that is why I am writing this guide, to put you on the proper course, and to allow you to save your money and direct it towards something that actually might help you further your goals.
My first question is the most obvious...If you were making tons of money on eBay, would you advertise exactly how it is you were doing it to everyone else on eBay? Of course not...that doesn't make a lick of sense - if you are that foolish, you would not have the capacity to make that kind of money in the first place. The sellers argument to this notion would be, 'I've made all the money I've wanted to, now it's your turn!'...sure.
It is all as simple as this:
There are about 3-4 different eBook 'Make a Million' scam guides floating around on eBay - different sellers dress them up a different ways...they are ALL the same. Please, if you take nothing more away from this Guide...let it be what I just wrote.
There is the one eBook that talks about making millions based on 'Current World Events', or something of the sort. Do you know what that guide tells you to do? Buy Iraqi Dinar. That's right, buy Iraqi Dinar. The pretty money that the Coalition Provisional Authority printed up in 2003-2004. Couple questions here - what happens when Iraq gets re-established without our presence and decides to destroy that money and create their own currency? Do you think for a second they are going to keep that money, which currently is their GREATEST EXPORT, because of all the Americans buying it up? Their money is already devalued because it is being bought up like a K-Mart Blue Light specials. Regardless of your opinion of the vaibility of this venture, this is, in fact, one of the eBook Guides circulating on eBay that is costing people anywhere from $10-$20. Save your money and type "Iraqi Dinar Investment" into Google...same information without the half naked chicks and altered Paypal screen shots.
Another eBook talks about 'unlocking hidden money on eBay', or tricks to finding 'untapped money on eBay'...know what they charge you $15.00 for? A link...that's right. It's a link to a website called fat finger...www.fatfingers.com. Fat Fingers, and sites like it, take whatever word or phrase you type in the text box and parses it into different incorrect spellings, and automatically enters those incorrect words/phrases into the eBay serach engine, as to allow you to take advantage of ebay sellers that created an auction, for possibily a high dollar item, but misspelled keywords it in the process. Sounds great doesn't it? One problem, this website is so widely used now, that you rarely, and I mean rarely happen upon a grossly misspelled word that has not been discovered.
I know this, because I have used it a thousand times and every time I find a rare 'Morgan Silver Dollar' spelled 'Mogan Sliver Dollar' there is 57 bids on it, and it goes for close to what it would have gone for otherwise. Perhaps if you were able to find every keyword, of every popular item, in every catagory - and you spend all day, everyday looking for deals, you might be able to make some money, but you have to wonder if it was worth the time you put into it? I found the answer to that is...no, not even close.
At the end of the day, the secret to making real, consistent income is not real complicated, and please, listen to me here - this information I give to you is real, and real simple. After you boil most things down, it is almost always 'real simple'. I have talked with many. many Powersellers over the years, in forums and eBay Live Conventions...here is the real secret...here is what is consistent with all the big Powersellers...
What do you love? What are you passionate about? Baseball? Music? Woodworking? Coin collecting? Medical Sciences? Vintage toys? What are those things in life that you are TRULY interested in? That you truly have an inherit knowledge about? Well there you have it...now sell it on eBay.
Learn as much as you can about it, and sell it on eBay.
Get a Tax ID with your state as a Sole Proprietor, and sell it on eBay.
Set up an account with distributors of that product, and sell it on eBay.
You will find, as time goes by, you will be successful, if you stick with it. It might take a year...maybe two...but you will end up being successfull if you are tenacious.
Yes, I know, this is not some 500 page book about how to get rich on eBay, but I have just given you the ingredients to the foundation of how it is done. No kidding. There is plenty of room on eBay for people to sell what they love - what they are passionate about.
One hint, you do not get rich selling eBook Guides on how to get rich on eBay. You get, untimately suspended because your feedback gets so bad from eBayers telling you what a scam you are.
